Sedona, Arizona...one of my favorite places...

In the FALL! of October of 2007 I took a trip. I just got in my car and headed out...I had money at the time...ha! I didn't really have a plan other than to head west. All I really knew was that I wanted to go to the ocean and I wanted to see Sedona, Arizona. I had seen something about Sedona on TV one time. I'd never heard of it before but some were calling it "the most beautiful place on earth" and the pictures looked so wonderful. So, anyway, I sorta knew some people along the first part of my journey that I felt I could call on if I had a problem. As it turned out, I didn't see anyone I knew until I got to Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Here are a few photos from along the way! My favorite place was Sedona, Arizona! I'd really like to live there someday!

The beautiful rock formations in Sedona, Arizona...and a tiny, yellow air balloon in the distance!

Shops in Sedona against the beautiful red rocks!

That reminds me of a joke my grandmother use to tell...
What eats big red rocks?
A big red rock eater!
Then she'd laugh and I'd laugh but also think...huh?

The Grand Canyon...Arizona

The Pacific Ocean...near Monterey, California

Mt. Shasta...California

Multnomah Falls...Oregon

Mt. St. Helens...Washington

I didn't take many photos as I traveled across the top of the United States!

Massachusetts

These pictures in Massachusetts were from a beautiful park.
There was a sign there that I forgot to take a picture of.
It said...
"Take only pictures. Leave only footprints."
I love that!

Massachusetts

Massachusetts...beautiful red-orange leaves...reminds me of those rock formations in Arizona...hmmmmm...

Connecticut...I especially love that orangy-pinky leaf color!
